PhishDestroy threat report
ledgr-learn-com.pages.dev is a phishing page impersonating Ledger, the hardware wallet maker. It carries the title "Ledger Start — Official Getting Started Guide" and targets people setting up a new device. The misspelled "ledgr" in the subdomain is the giveaway. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-08, and it was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.
Fake Ledger onboarding pages copy the real setup flow, then steer the visitor toward a step Ledger never asks for. That step is usually typing the 24-word recovery phrase into a web form or installing a counterfeit companion app. A guide called "Official Getting Started Guide" reaches people at their most trusting moment, while they unbox a device and follow instructions step by step. Anyone who hands over the recovery phrase gives the attacker full control of every account derived from it, and the funds can be swept within minutes.
On 2026-09-22, VirusTotal showed 4 of 89 engines flagging the page: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and LevelBlue. That count is low, so most antivirus products may not warn visitors yet. Stronger confirmation comes from the crypto-focused blocklists that list it: MetaMask, SEAL, PhishFeed and PhishDestroy. Spamhaus also lists the domain in its DBL as a phishing domain (DBL_PHISH), which helps mail filters and resolvers block it.
The page is not a purchased domain but a free Cloudflare Pages project. Its listed creation date is 2026-09-13, five days after PhishDestroy first saw it. It resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada and uses a certificate from Google Trust Services. Free static hosting like this lets an operator launch a convincing lookalike quickly and replace it just as fast once it is reported.
If you typed your recovery phrase on this page, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a fresh seed on your Ledger and move any remaining assets to the new addresses immediately. If you downloaded software from the page, uninstall it and scan the machine. Get Ledger Live only from Ledger's own channels. If you connected a browser wallet and signed anything, review and revoke the token approvals you granted. Defenders should block the hostname, report the project to Cloudflare Pages, and add pages.dev lookalikes of hardware wallet brands to their monitoring.
