PhishDestroy threat report
ledger-lpog-in.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page posing as Ledger, the hardware wallet maker, and it targets people who keep crypto on Ledger devices. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, and the hosting provider was still blocking it on 2026-10-19. Its page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's own warning page rather than the Ledger lure we classified.
Fake Ledger pages usually claim the device needs a firmware update, a security check or a wallet "sync". They then ask the visitor to type in the 24-word recovery phrase. Ledger never asks for that phrase online, and anyone who has it can rebuild the wallet elsewhere and empty it. The subdomain mixes "ledger" with a login-style suffix to look like a sign-in portal. It runs on a free app-hosting platform, so it looks like a normal web address instead of an obviously throwaway domain.
Twelve of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the address as of 2026-09-11. Those engines include BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai, so the verdict rests on several unrelated security vendors. urlscan.io rated the page malicious. The site also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, two lists maintained by the crypto-security community, as well as on PhishDestroy's own list.
The site was hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and its IP sits on Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada. The project was created on 2025-09-05, almost a year before PhishDestroy flagged it. That gap suggests the subdomain may have been set up well before it was used, or it ran unnoticed for a long time. The provider then blocked the content, and the site went offline the same day VirusTotal last confirmed the detections.
If you entered your recovery phrase on this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up your Ledger again with a brand-new phrase, and move your funds to the new addresses right away from a clean device. If you only visited the page and typed nothing, no action is needed beyond staying alert to similar Ledger "update" messages. Get Ledger Live and firmware only through official channels, and never type your 24 words into a website or app. Defenders should block this subdomain and watch for other look-alike Ledger subdomains on free hosting platforms.
