PhishDestroy threat report
ledger-cn.com is an impersonation phishing page posing as Ledger, the hardware wallet maker. It copied the title of Ledger's official app page, "Ledger Wallet (ex. Ledger Live) - Crypto App | Ledger", to target owners looking to download or update their wallet software. PhishDestroy first saw the site on 2026-09-27. It has been offline since 2026-09-28, and on 2026-10-19 its domain no longer resolved.
Fake Ledger app pages exploit the moment a user downloads or reinstalls Ledger Live. The visitor is usually told the wallet needs to be restored or verified and is asked for the 24-word recovery phrase, or is given a counterfeit app that asks for it. A Ledger device never needs that phrase typed into a website or desktop form. Anyone who enters it gives the attacker full control of every account behind it, and the attacker can empty the wallet from any device without touching the hardware.
Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-28: alphaMountain.ai, Emsisoft, Fortinet, Kaspersky, Netcraft and Webroot. That is a modest count, but the vendors are well-known names in phishing detection. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and identified Ledger as the imitated brand. The domain appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-03-11 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. It sat for more than six months before PhishDestroy caught it live, which suggests it was registered in advance and held until a campaign was ready. The "-cn" suffix makes it look like a regional Ledger site. It was hosted on NetLab Global in Hong Kong at 154.44.25.72. The site used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock showed only an encrypted connection, not that Ledger operated the site.
If you typed your recovery phrase into this site or into an app it supplied, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a new phrase on a reset or new device and move any remaining funds immediately. Uninstall any software downloaded from the domain and get Ledger Wallet only through Ledger's official channels. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP, search DNS and proxy logs for past visits, and warn users that Ledger never asks for a recovery phrase online.

Google PageSpeed Insights — mobile performance audit of ledger-cn.com · checked Sep 27, 2026
An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
