PhishDestroy threat report
ledger--live-cloud-pdf.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger. It targets people who own Ledger hardware wallets or use the Ledger Live app. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-01. The site went offline on 2026-09-12 after Cloudflare blocked its content, and it was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19.
The hostname strings together "ledger", "live", "cloud" and "pdf" to suggest an official Ledger Live cloud service or a downloadable Ledger document. Pages like this usually claim the wallet needs syncing, verification or recovery, then ask for the 24-word recovery phrase. Whoever has that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it, and no PIN or hardware device can stop them. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the hosting provider's warning page shown in place of the original content. That warning is not Ledger-branded material, but we still classify the site as Ledger impersonation.
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and recognised Ledger branding on it. MetaMask and SEAL both list the domain on their blocklists, alongside PhishDestroy. VirusTotal showed 0 detections out of 89 engines on 2026-09-13. That scan ran the day after the page was taken offline, so the empty result reflects a dead site rather than a clean one.
The site was hosted as a free subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, created on 2025-10-31, about ten months before PhishDestroy flagged it. It resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. network space with a Canadian geolocation and used a certificate from Google Trust Services. Throwaway subdomains on large hosting platforms come with valid HTTPS by default and borrow the platform's reputation, so they are cheap to set up and quick to replace.
If you typed your recovery phrase into this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a freshly generated phrase and move any remaining funds there immediately, because changing your PIN or reinstalling Ledger Live does not help. If you connected a software wallet, check for and revoke any token approvals you do not recognise. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase online, in an app, or by email. Defenders should block this specific hostname and watch for similar Ledger-themed subdomains on pages.dev rather than blocking the whole platform.
