Overview

ledgeer-live-ask.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page hosted on Cloudflare's free Pages service. Its subdomain misspells "Ledger Live" with a doubled "e" and adds "ask", the kind of name built to catch hardware-wallet owners searching for help or software. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-01. The site has been offline since 2026-09-13, and it was still dead with its content blocked by the provider on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Pages like this borrow a trusted name to push visitors into an urgent "support" or "verification" step. In wallet-themed schemes, that step usually asks for a recovery phrase or a wallet connection. Anyone who types in a seed phrase hands over full control of every account derived from it, and the funds can be emptied within minutes. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's own warning screen. We classified the site as Cloudflare impersonation, and scanners matched it to the same brand.

Evidence

urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and matched the page to generic Cloudflare branding. MetaMask's and SEAL's wallet-security blocklists list the site alongside PhishDestroy, so three independent crypto-focused sources reached the same conclusion. VirusTotal tells a different story: 0 of 89 engines flagged it when checked on 2026-09-13. Antivirus scores alone would have given this page a clean bill of health.

Infrastructure

The Pages project dates to 2025-10-14, almost eleven months before PhishDestroy caught it. A subdomain that sat that long before surfacing may have been prepared in advance or used quietly for some time. It resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada, and it inherits the standard pages.dev certificate. Free subdomains like this are cheap to create and easy to replace, so similar Ledger-styled names on the same service are worth watching.

What to do

If you entered a recovery phrase on this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Move any remaining assets to a new wallet created on your own device with a fresh phrase, and never reuse the old one. Ledger never asks for your 24 words on a website, through support chat or in a form. If you only browsed the page, no action is needed beyond closing it. Defenders should block the subdomain, rely on wallet-focused blocklists such as SEAL and MetaMask rather than antivirus verdicts alone, and alert users to misspelled Ledger Live names on free hosting platforms.
