Overview

kakobuyeu.lol is an impersonation phishing page that poses as Kakobuy, a shopping-agent service used to buy and ship goods from overseas sellers. It targets Italian-speaking shoppers with the page title "kakobuy spreadsheet Italia | Acquisti e spedizioni" (purchases and shipping). PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-16. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Shopping-agent communities rely on product spreadsheets that link to items and the agent's ordering pages. Lookalike sites copy that format to draw buyers into a fake storefront or login. Victims who sign in or check out can hand over their account credentials, payment card details or funds for orders and shipping fees that never arrive. A hijacked agent account can also expose saved addresses, order history and any stored balance.

Evidence

PhishDestroy classifies the domain as impersonation based on its use of the Kakobuy name and its imitation of a Kakobuy spreadsheet and shopping portal. Independent detection is absent so far. VirusTotal showed 0 of 92 engines flagging the domain on 2026-10-16, and PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it. Many security tools have not caught up with this site, so a clean scan result does not mean it is safe.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-12 through Spaceship, Inc., four days before PhishDestroy detected it. It resolves to 52.37.165.222 on the AMAZON-02 network operated by Amazon.com, Inc. in the US. The site uses a TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt (YE1), so the padlock in the browser only shows the connection is encrypted and says nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

If you entered a Kakobuy password on this site, change it right away on the official service and change it anywhere else you reuse it. Turn on two-factor authentication where available. If you entered card or payment details, contact your bank or card issuer to block the card, dispute any charges and watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions. Do not pay any further "shipping" or "handling" fees that the site requests. Security teams should block kakobuyeu.lol at the DNS and proxy level and report it to the registrar and hosting provider. Because the IP sits on shared cloud infrastructure, block by domain rather than by IP alone.
