PhishDestroy first flagged this domain on 2026-09-19, and as of 2026-10-18 the site remains fully live and serving malicious content.

How the scam works

The site poses as an official Guarda download or setup page, luring users who believe they are installing or recovering a legitimate wallet. At some point in the flow — typically framed as account recovery, wallet import, or initial setup — the victim is prompted to enter their seed phrase, the master key that controls all funds in a wallet. The moment that phrase is submitted, the attacker gains complete, irreversible control of every asset in the wallet. Unlike a wallet drainer that requires a transaction approval, seed phrase theft gives attackers direct access with no further interaction needed from the victim.

Evidence

Twelve of 91 engines on VirusTotal flagged this domain as malicious as of 2026-09-29, with detections from alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, and Gridinsoft. The domain appears on three independent blocklists: PhishDestroy, MetaMask, and SEAL, indicating cross-industry consensus on the threat.
