fortclc.com is a phishing site that imitates Epic Games and targets players who hold Epic accounts. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content, more than a month after it was first caught. The browser tab shows only "Loading", while urlscan.io identified Epic Games branding on the page itself.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages like this copy the look of a trusted brand's sign-in flow. Visitors are usually lured with promises of free in-game currency, skins or giveaways. When they type their Epic username and password, and sometimes a 2FA code, the details go straight to the operator. A hijacked Epic account can expose saved payment methods, purchased games and cosmetics, and any linked console or social logins. The bland "Loading" title gives no hint of the brand being copied, so the branding appears only once the page renders.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and matched it to Epic Games. VirusTotal shows 6 of 89 engines flagging it as of 2026-09-23: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, so many browsers and filters may still let it load. Spamhaus lists the domain on its DBL as spam, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-08 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. It was detected just eight days later, which fits a throwaway domain set up for a short campaign. It resolves to an address on the M/S ROBI TRADERS network in Turkey. A Let's Encrypt certificate gives it the padlock icon, which only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is honest.
What to do
If you entered your Epic Games login on this site, change your password right away from the official Epic site or app. Use a new password, and change it anywhere else you reused it. Turn on or reset two-factor authentication, sign out of all sessions, and check that your email, linked accounts and payment methods have not been changed. Watch your card statements for purchases you did not make and report any to Epic support. Defenders should block fortclc.com at DNS and web proxies and search logs for users who visited it.
