Overview

dashboard-pacaswap.com presented itself as PacaSwap, a DeFi swap platform, and was built to drain cryptocurrency wallets from users who connected to it. PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-09-05, roughly two weeks after the domain was registered on 2026-08-19. The site has since gone offline and has been confirmed dead as of 2026-10-14, with its last check on 2026-10-19 returning no content.

How the scam works

Wallet drainer sites like this one mimic legitimate DeFi interfaces — in this case a swap dashboard under the PacaSwap brand — to trick users into connecting their cryptocurrency wallets. Once a wallet is connected, the drainer silently requests broad token-spending approvals or triggers a malicious transaction that transfers assets directly to the attacker. The victim typically sees nothing alarming until their tokens, NFTs or native currency are already gone. The damage is irreversible because blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.

Evidence

Five of 89 engines on VirusTotal flagged this domain as malicious as of 2026-09-18; vendors include CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and URLQuery. The domain was registered on 2026-08-19 through Fewmoretaps OU, trading as Trustname.com. It was hosted on IP 84.32.84.228 within Hostinger International Limited's network in Lithuania. The TLS certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt under the YE2 intermediate, a free and automated authority commonly used for rapid site deployment.
