PhishDestroy threat report
crypto-i7t.netlify.app is an impersonation phishing page built on a free Netlify subdomain and aimed at cryptocurrency users. The generic "crypto" label with a random suffix is typical of throwaway pages that copy a legitimate crypto service. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-08. The site went offline on 2026-09-11, and as of 2026-10-19 its root returns no content.
Impersonation pages copy the look of a trusted wallet, exchange or dApp so the visitor believes they are on the real service. The victim is then pushed to do something only the genuine service should ask for. That usually means typing a recovery phrase or private key, logging in with account credentials, or connecting a wallet and signing a transaction. Whatever is entered goes straight to the operator, and a revealed seed phrase or a signed approval can let them empty the wallet without further interaction.
Wallet-security blocklists flagged the page, not just general web filters. MetaMask and SEAL both list it alongside PhishDestroy, which matters because MetaMask's list triggers a warning inside the wallet itself. On VirusTotal, 4 of 89 engines flagged it as of 2026-09-16: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and VIPRE. That count is low, but ChainPatrol specializes in crypto phishing, and most engines simply never evaluate short-lived subdomains like this one.
The operator registered no domain of their own and used a Netlify subdomain, which costs nothing and can be created and abandoned in minutes. The page lived about three days between PhishDestroy's first sighting and going offline. Traffic was served from Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in Germany, which underpins Netlify's hosting. The DigiCert certificate is Netlify's shared certificate, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about who ran the page.
If you entered a seed phrase or private key on this page, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet on a clean device and move any remaining funds immediately. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, review and revoke the token approvals granted around that time. If you entered an exchange or service password, change it and reset two-factor authentication. Defenders should block the subdomain and watch for similar random-suffix crypto pages on free hosting platforms, reporting new ones to the hosting provider for fast removal.
