How the scam works

Visitors are prompted to claim a gift card, which typically requires submitting personal details such as name, address, email, phone number, or payment card information to cover a supposed shipping or verification fee. No reward is ever delivered; the attacker harvests the submitted data for fraud or resale, and any payment made goes directly to the scammer.
