As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content.
How the scam works
Fake claim pages borrow a real project's name and branding, then promise an allocation that can only be collected by connecting a wallet. The connect or claim button usually triggers a signature or token approval that gives the attacker spending rights over the victim's assets, or the page asks for a seed phrase outright. urlscan.io matched the page to a generic crypto template, which fits a reusable kit dressed up as PLRL. Anyone who goes through with it can lose the tokens and NFTs held in the connected wallet, and the theft can continue after the tab is closed.
Evidence
When checked on 2026-09-22, 14 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict, and Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as phishing. Wallet-focused blocklists from MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL carry it alongside PhishDestroy. That matters because those lists can warn users inside the wallet before they sign. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-11 through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED and was caught within hours. That timing points to a disposable domain set up for a single campaign. The site sits behind Cloudflare's network in the US, which hides the real origin server. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you connected a wallet to this site, use a token approval checker to revoke any permissions you granted, and move your remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you typed in a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer your funds out immediately. Only follow PLRL claim announcements through the project's verified channels.
