Overview

check.mrkingcasino.online is a subdomain of a casino-branded domain that PhishDestroy classifies as a fraudulent gambling operation aimed at online casino players. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-09. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still alive and redirects visitors elsewhere. Its page title reads "404 Not Found", which does not match our gambling-fraud classification.

How the scam works

Fraudulent online casinos draw players in with bonuses, free spins or inflated win rates, then take deposits by card, bank transfer or crypto. Withdrawal is where the trap closes. Winnings get stuck behind "verification", unexpected fees or rising turnover requirements, and paying those only adds to the loss. Players can also hand over identity documents during fake KYC checks, which exposes them to identity theft long after the account is abandoned.

Evidence

On 2026-09-23, VirusTotal showed 7 of 89 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and Webroot. That count is modest. Still, the vendors are independent of each other, and they include the Vietnamese anti-scam project Chong Lua Dao as well as several commercial web-filtering feeds, so browsers and corporate proxies using those feeds may already block it. PhishDestroy lists the domain on its own blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2026-05-24, about 77 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap leaves enough time to build a player base before reports pile up. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, Inc. (IP 188.114.96.3, geolocated to CA), which hides the real origin server. The Let's Encrypt certificate only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the operator is legitimate.
