PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

casxov.com is a domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist that does not host its own page. Instead, it forwards visitors to another destination. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16, and it has not yet been tied to a specific scheme or impersonated brand. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and the redirect was still working, so anyone who clicks a link to it today will be sent onward.

How the scam works

A domain whose only job is to bounce traffic elsewhere is a common building block in crypto fraud. The disposable address goes into messages, ads or social posts, and the operator can swap the landing page behind it at any time. Whatever sits at the end of the chain is where the harm happens. That could be a page asking you to connect a wallet and sign a transaction, a form collecting a seed phrase or login details, or a fake platform asking for deposits. Because the visible domain gives no hint of the destination, victims often don't know what site they actually reached.

Evidence

Independent support is thin so far. On 2026-10-16, none of the 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, and PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it. Three AlienVault OTX pulses reference it, which shows other researchers have also noticed it. A clean VirusTotal result for a fresh redirector is not reassurance, because these domains often go undetected until their destination is reported.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Tucows Domains Inc. on 2026-07-31, about eleven weeks before PhishDestroy caught it. That gap suggests it was registered and held, or quietly used, before it surfaced. It sits behind Cloudflare, with the serving address geolocated to Canada. Cloudflare's proxy hides the origin server that actually performs the redirect.

What to do

Do not follow links to casxov.com, and treat any site it forwarded you to as untrusted. If that destination asked you to connect a wallet and you approved or signed anything, review and revoke those token approvals and move remaining funds to a fresh wallet. If you typed a seed phrase, consider that wallet lost and empty it immediately. If you entered a password, change it everywhere you reuse it and turn on app-based 2FA. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, log any redirect chains that pass through it, and report it to Cloudflare so the destination can be traced.
