PhishDestroy threat report
cache.dev.titan.abstract.engineering is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself under the name "Abstract Engineering". It is aimed at crypto users who expect to be dealing with the genuine Abstract brand. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its content was reachable through a redirect.
The page carries the title "Abstract Engineering" and borrows that identity, so a visitor arriving from a link, post or ad has little reason to doubt it. Impersonation pages like this usually push the visitor to connect a wallet, sign a transaction or message, or type in login details or a recovery phrase. A malicious signature can hand control of tokens to the operator. A captured seed phrase or password gives up the whole account. The long, developer-style hostname mimics the internal or staging addresses a real engineering team might use, which makes the link look more trustworthy at a glance.
Six of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-09-14: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a modest count. It matters that ChainPatrol, a crypto-specific scanner, is among them. The domain is also on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy's own. This means wallet-focused defenders reached the same verdict independently.
The parent domain was registered on 2019-02-13 through NameCheap, Inc., more than seven years before PhishDestroy detected this subdomain. The malicious page therefore sits on a deep subdomain of an established name rather than a freshly registered one. Traffic resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. address space geolocated to Canada, so the true origin server is hidden behind the proxy. A Google Trust Services certificate supplies the padlock, which shows encryption but says nothing about legitimacy.
If you connected a wallet to this site, review and revoke any token approvals it obtained, and move remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer assets out immediately. If you typed a password, change it everywhere you reused it and turn on app-based 2FA. Reach the real Abstract only through bookmarks or official channels. Defenders should block the full hostname and the parent domain at DNS and proxy level. They should also report the page to Cloudflare and NameCheap so it can be taken down.
