PhishDestroy threat report
blackbutterflyboutique.shop is an e-commerce scam: a fake online store branded "Vintage 1950s Girls' Fashion" that targets shoppers looking for retro and vintage-style clothing. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online with its storefront content live, so it can still take orders and payments.
Shops like this copy the look of a niche boutique, list attractive vintage dresses at tempting prices, and run a working checkout. The buyer pays, and then either nothing arrives or a cheap item unlike the listing shows up. Refund requests and messages usually go unanswered. Victims lose the purchase money, and they also hand over their name, address, phone number and card details. That information can be reused for further fraud.
Eleven of 92 engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain on 2026-10-16. The vendors include BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, Gridinsoft, Lionic and the Vietnamese anti-scam project Chong Lua Dao. That is a meaningful spread of independent vendors for a young shop domain. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-04-26, nearly six months before detection. That gap suggests it may have been selling to buyers well before it was reported. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, which has no obvious connection to a boutique selling to Western customers. The free Let's Encrypt certificate only provides the padlock icon and says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
If you ordered from this site, contact your card issuer or payment provider right away. Report the transaction as fraud, request a chargeback, and ask about replacing the card if you entered its number. Keep your order confirmation and any emails as evidence. Expect follow-up phishing that uses your name and address, and treat "shipping problem" or "refund" messages tied to this order as suspicious. Defenders should block the domain, watch for lookalike boutique domains on the same hosting network, and feed it into e-commerce fraud filters.
