PhishDestroy threat report
basexp-worker.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as BaseXP, a "Kripto Tamagotchi" crypto pet game. The Turkish-flavoured title suggests it is pitched at casual crypto users, including Turkish-speaking audiences, who are drawn in by a playful collect-and-earn theme. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-11. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its content.
Game-themed impersonation pages present themselves as the official home of a crypto project. They ask visitors to connect a wallet to "hatch" a pet, claim XP, or join an early reward round. That connect step is the trap. The victim is pushed to sign transactions or approvals that hand control of tokens or NFTs to the operator, or to enter a seed phrase to "sync" progress. Either way, the loss is the contents of the wallet, and blockchain transfers cannot be reversed.
Three of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the page as of 2026-09-24: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and VIPRE. That count is low, so most generic antivirus tools would let it through. Stronger backing comes from the crypto-specific blocklists of MetaMask and SEAL, which list the domain alongside PhishDestroy. Those lists are what actually warn wallet users in the browser.
The site is a free Cloudflare Pages project created on 2026-09-09, just two days before PhishDestroy caught it. Throwaway subdomains like this cost nothing and can be replaced in minutes. It is served from Cloudflare's network on an address geolocated to Canada. The Let's Encrypt certificate only means the padlock appears, and it says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you connected a wallet here, open a token-approval checker for every network you used and revoke any permissions you do not recognise. Then move remaining assets to a fresh wallet. If you typed in a seed phrase, treat that wallet as fully compromised and transfer everything out immediately to a wallet with a newly generated phrase. Do not reply to "support" accounts offering recovery, because they are a common follow-up scam. Defenders should block the domain, report it to Cloudflare's abuse team for takedown, and watch for sibling pages.dev projects using the BaseXP name.
