Overview

almaei-hr.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself in Persian as the personal website of Hamidreza Almaei. Its audience is Persian-speaking visitors who reach it expecting a genuine personal or professional site. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-08. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content. The page title shows an ordinary personal homepage, while our classification marks the site as impersonation.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages borrow a name and identity that visitors already trust, then use that trust to make requests feel legitimate. A site framed as one person's homepage can push contact forms, login prompts, payment requests or invitations to private chats, each of which is a chance to collect personal details, credentials or money. Victims who engage may give up account access or contact information, or send funds to someone posing as the named individual.

Evidence

Eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain in a scan on 2026-10-12: alphaMountain.ai, Certego, Dr.Web, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Seclookup, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That count is modest, but these are independent vendors from different detection categories reaching the same verdict. The domain also appears in 30 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have been tracking it. Among blocklists, only PhishDestroy currently lists it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2019-07-25 through 1API GmbH, more than seven years before PhishDestroy detected it. An older domain carries more history and reputation than a fresh registration, which can help it get past filters that distrust new names. The site is hosted on Hetzner Online GmbH's network, on a server located in Finland.
