Overview

aktifka4npaylaters.tnn.my.id is an impersonation phishing page posing as Dana, the Indonesian digital wallet. The hostname spells out a garbled "aktifkan paylater" (activate PayLater), so it is aimed at Dana users hoping to unlock a credit or pay-later feature. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-11. It went offline on 2026-09-12 and was still dead, with no active DNS, when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page reuses Dana's own slogan as its title, "DANA | #Satu Dompet Untuk Semua Transaksi" ("one wallet for all transactions"), written in stylized bold characters to look official. Fake PayLater activation pages like this usually walk the victim through an "eligibility" form that asks for the phone number tied to the account, then the PIN and the one-time code Dana sends by SMS. With those three items an attacker can take over the e-wallet and drain the balance or run transactions in the victim's name.

Evidence

VirusTotal showed 16 of 89 engines flagging the site on 2026-09-12, one day after we found it. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, Emsisoft, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That is a solid early consensus for a page that lived only briefly. urlscan.io independently rated it malicious and recognized the Dana branding on the page. PhishDestroy lists it on our blocklist.

Infrastructure

The name was registered on 2026-07-25, about seven weeks before detection. That gap fits a domain set up in advance and switched on for a short campaign. It sits as a subdomain under tnn.my.id, an Indonesian namespace, which suits a scam aimed at local users. Traffic ran through Cloudflare, with the address geolocated to Canada. A Google Trust Services certificate gave it the browser padlock, which proves nothing about the site's legitimacy.

What to do

If you entered your phone number, Dana PIN or an SMS code on this page, change your PIN in the official Dana app right away. Then contact Dana support through the app to report a possible takeover and ask them to review recent transactions. Watch for unfamiliar PayLater or loan activity, and never share an OTP with anyone, since Dana does not ask for it outside its own app. Defenders should block the hostname and the wider tnn.my.id subdomain pattern. They should also flag lookalike "aktifkan paylater" names that combine Dana branding with non-Dana domains.
