aitairproto.io is an impersonation phishing site. It presents itself as a decentralized application under the bare page title "DApp" and targets crypto users who expect to connect a wallet to a Web3 project. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
How the scam works
Sites like this copy the look and language of a legitimate Web3 project so visitors trust it enough to press "Connect Wallet". The bland "DApp" title fits a generic connect-and-claim front, where the visitor is shown a reward, airdrop or protocol action and then asked to sign transactions or token approvals. Those signatures can hand the operator permission to move tokens and NFTs out of the wallet, sometimes long after the visit. Some variants instead ask for a seed phrase to "verify" or "sync" the wallet, which gives away the whole account.
Evidence
Four of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-06: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so most antivirus tools will not warn visitors yet. ScamSniffer, a blocklist focused on Web3 scams, independently lists the domain alongside PhishDestroy. It also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it too.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD. on 2026-09-18, just seven days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains set up for a quick campaign. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with an edge address in Canada, which hides the real origin server. Its Let's Encrypt certificate is free and automatic, so the padlock in the browser shows only an encrypted connection, not a trustworthy site.
What to do
Do not connect a wallet or sign anything on aitairproto.io. If you already connected, check your token approvals and revoke any you granted to unfamiliar contracts, then move your remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not fully understand. If you typed your seed phrase into the site, treat that wallet as lost: create a new one and transfer your funds immediately. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, add it to wallet and browser-extension blocklists, and report it to Cloudflare and the registrar so it can be taken down.
