PhishDestroy threat report
agoda-ambassador-dashboard.netlify.app is a phishing page that borrows the Agoda travel-booking brand and frames itself as a dashboard for Agoda "ambassadors". It targets people who believe they have joined an Agoda partner or earning program. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11 and was still dead at the last check on 2026-10-19.
Fake "ambassador" or partner dashboards usually reach victims through messages offering commission work or a role promoting a well-known brand. The dashboard is there to make the offer look official. It may ask victims to log in with real account details, submit personal and payment information, or deposit money to "unlock" tasks and earnings that never pay out. The Agoda name supplies the trust. The page now returns the title "Site not found" because its content has been removed, while our classification reflects the impersonation page it hosted before.
Seventeen of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the address as of 2026-09-12. That is a meaningful share for a short-lived free-hosting page, and the flags came from several independent vendors, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, Criminal IP, CyRadar and Chong Lua Dao. Google Safe Browsing lists it as SOCIAL_ENGINEERING, so Chrome and other browsers that use that feed show a warning. The domain also sits on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
This is not a registered domain. It is a free subdomain on Netlify's app platform, which lets anyone launch a page in minutes and abandon it just as fast. The site was live for under two weeks between our first sighting and its takedown. It was served from Amazon infrastructure in Germany (35.157.26.135). Its DigiCert certificate belongs to the hosting platform, not the operator, so the padlock said nothing about who was behind the page.
If you signed in on this page, change the password for that account and for any other account that uses it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you shared card or bank details, or paid anything to "activate" ambassador tasks, contact your bank right away and do not send further fees to recover money. Report the contact who sent you the link, and verify any Agoda partner offer only through Agoda's official site. Defenders should block the subdomain and watch for look-alike Agoda partner pages on free hosting platforms.
