PhishDestroy threat report
xbu55.vercel.app is a phishing page that impersonates Adobe behind a plain tab title, "Files". It targets people who receive what looks like a shared document and expect to sign in to view it. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and reachable.
Fake Adobe file shares usually begin with an email or chat message saying a document is waiting. The link opens a page dressed in Adobe branding, here titled simply "Files", that asks the visitor to log in before the file can be opened. There is no document. Whatever email address and password the victim types goes straight to the operator, who can then take over the mailbox, reset passwords for linked services, or send the same lure to the victim's contacts.
On 2026-10-01, 18 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Emsisoft, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai and Criminal IP. Detection from that many established vendors is strong confirmation. Google Safe Browsing lists the site as SOCIAL_ENGINEERING, so Chrome and other browsers that use it should show a warning. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and independently recognised the Adobe branding. The domain is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The page sits on a free vercel.app subdomain, which lets an operator publish a phishing site in minutes without registering a domain of their own. It resolves to 64.29.17.3 on Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the US. The TLS certificate from Google Trust Services (WR1) is issued automatically for these subdomains, so the browser padlock says nothing about whether the page is genuinely Adobe.
If you entered a password on this page, change it right away on the real account and anywhere else you used it. Start with your email, because an attacker who controls it can reset everything else. Turn on two-factor authentication, sign out all active sessions, and check your mailbox for forwarding rules or filters you did not create. Warn the person whose message carried the link, since their account may already be compromised. Defenders should block the domain at the proxy and DNS layer, search mail logs for messages containing it, and reset credentials for any user who clicked through.
