How the scam works
Fake web wallets like this one invite visitors to "create" a new wallet or "import" an existing one by typing in their seed phrase or private key. Anything entered goes to the operators, not to the Kaspa network. With a recovery phrase in hand, they can sweep every KAS balance tied to it, usually within minutes, and the transfer cannot be reversed. The polished "new digital wallet experience" pitch exists to make handing over a recovery phrase feel like a normal setup step.

On 2026-10-10, five of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the site: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar.
