secure.fortifypros.com is an impersonation phishing page. It presents itself under the name "fortifypros" behind a "secure." subdomain, styled to look like an official account or security portal. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving a redirect, so visitors can still be routed onward to the phishing content.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the look and wording of a legitimate service so that a visitor trusts the form in front of them. The "secure." prefix is a common credibility trick that makes the address read like a protected login area. The page title shows only "fortifypros" rather than a well-known third-party brand, while our classification is impersonation. Victims who follow the redirect and fill in the forms hand over passwords, contact details or payment information, which the operators can reuse for account takeover and fraud.
Evidence
Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-10-01: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, MalwareURL and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it comes from six unrelated vendors that reached the same verdict independently. Most security tools still let the site through, so a missing browser warning does not mean it is safe. PhishDestroy lists it on its blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through NAMECHEAP INC on 2026-05-28, about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the name was held or used quietly before it surfaced. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with a Canadian edge address, so the real origin server is hidden from view. Its Google Trust Services certificate gives it the usual padlock, which shows only that the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the operator is honest.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it right away on the real service and on any other account that uses the same password. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you submitted card or banking details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any charges. Watch for follow-up phishing emails or calls that cite the details you gave. Defenders should block the domain and its subdomains at DNS and proxy level, search mail and web logs for users who visited it, and reset credentials for anyone who reached the redirect.
