PhishDestroy threat report
secure-learn-ledgercom.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that copies Ledger's onboarding material. It targets people setting up or troubleshooting a Ledger hardware wallet. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. When checked on 2026-10-19 the site was still online with its phishing content live.
The page is titled "Getting Started with Ledger™ - Secure Crypto Management®", which mimics the official setup flow a new device owner would expect to follow. Fake Ledger setup pages typically lead visitors to a step that asks them to type in their 24-word recovery phrase, or to download a counterfeit companion app that requests the phrase. A genuine Ledger device never asks for this. Anyone who hands over the phrase gives the operators full control of every account on that wallet, and they can empty it at any time without touching the physical device.
Twelve of 91 VirusTotal engines classified the site as malicious on 2026-09-29. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Kaspersky and Lionic. urlscan.io gave a malicious verdict and specifically detected Ledger branding on the page. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain appears on the MetaMask, SEAL and PhishFeed blocklists, so several wallet and security communities reached the same conclusion independently.
The site runs as a Cloudflare Pages project created on 2026-08-28, about 18 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing deployments. It resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada. Free hosting under a shared platform subdomain lets the operators publish quickly and look polished. The "ledgercom" string in the hostname is meant to suggest Ledger's official website.
If you typed your recovery phrase into this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a fresh seed on a reset or new device, move any remaining funds there immediately, and never reuse the old phrase. If you installed software from the page, uninstall it, run a full malware scan, and reinstall Ledger Live only from Ledger's official source. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you don't recognize. Security teams should block the hostname, watch for similar pages.dev subdomains carrying Ledger branding, and report the deployment to Cloudflare for takedown.
