PhishDestroy threat report
payvrfy.com presented itself as an "Accept Payment - Solana" page. The domain name reads as "pay verify." PhishDestroy classifies it as impersonation phishing aimed at Solana users who are told a payment is waiting for them. We first saw it on 2026-10-14, and the site was dead and unreachable as of 2026-10-19.
Fake "accept payment" pages target people who expect crypto, such as freelancers, sellers and anyone a scammer has groomed in chat. The victim is told funds are pending and must connect a Solana wallet or "verify" to receive them. The confirmation step is actually a transaction or signature request that hands control of tokens to the attacker, so the victim loses money instead of receiving it. The Solana branding in the page title lends the request false legitimacy.
On 2026-10-18, 12 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Google Safe Browsing, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky. That is a modest share, but these are independent vendors reaching the same verdict. Google Safe Browsing lists the domain under social engineering, Spamhaus DBL tags it as spam, and MetaMask and SEAL block it alongside PhishDestroy. Three AlienVault OTX pulses also reference it.
The domain was registered on 2026-10-11 through TUCOWS.COM, CO., only three days before we detected it. That gap fits a disposable domain bought for a short campaign. It was hosted on Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in Germany and used a free Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock in the browser therefore said nothing about who ran the site. It went offline on 2026-10-19, about a week after registration.
If you connected a wallet or signed anything on this page, move remaining funds to a new wallet with a fresh seed phrase. Use a Solana token-approval tool to revoke any delegations or permissions you granted. Never enter a seed phrase to "receive" a payment, because legitimate transfers arrive without any action from you. Treat whoever sent you the link as the scammer and report the account. Defenders should block the domain and watch for lookalike "pay" and "verify" domains reusing the same Solana payment lure.
