PhishDestroy threat report
montbraun.com is an impersonation phishing site that poses as someone it is not to win visitors' trust and harvest what they hand over. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-13. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and redirecting visitors elsewhere, so it remains an active hazard. The page carries the bilingual title "Emotional Bond | 情感纽带", a generic English-Chinese label that names no recognizable brand, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Impersonation pages copy the look, name or tone of a trusted party, then ask visitors to log in, register, verify an account or make a payment. A soft, relationship-themed title like "Emotional Bond" lowers suspicion and suits lures that build rapport before asking for anything sensitive. Whatever gets typed in, such as usernames, passwords, contact details or card numbers, goes straight to the operators. The redirect means a visitor can land on a different page than the link suggested, which makes the deception harder to spot.
17 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-09-21. The flagging vendors include ESET, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar, ADMINUSLabs and Chong Lua Dao, a Vietnamese anti-scam group. That spread of independent vendors gives the classification solid backing. The domain also appears in 5 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2015-10-22, almost eleven years before we detected it. An aged domain carries more reputation with filters and visitors than a freshly registered one. It is registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. and hosted on The Constant Company, LLC network in the United States. The site uses an automatically issued Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about who runs it.
If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately, along with any account that reuses it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you submitted card or bank details, call your card issuer to block the card and dispute any charges. If you shared personal information, expect follow-up messages that cite it to seem credible, and do not reply. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and add it to mail and web filters. They should also check logs for users who were redirected through it.
