PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

luxehauls.com is an impersonation phishing page that dangles a "Claim Your $750 Coach Gift Card" offer in front of visitors. It uses the Coach name to look like a brand promotion and targets online shoppers who expect a legitimate reward. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-14. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its scam content.

How the scam works

Fake gift card giveaways follow a familiar script. The visitor is told they qualify for a high-value voucher, here $750 at Coach, and is then walked through surveys, "verification" steps or a small shipping or processing charge before the reward is supposedly released. Along the way the page collects names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and payment card details. The gift card never arrives. Victims are left with a compromised card that may be hit with recurring charges, and their personal details can be reused for follow-up fraud.

Evidence

Independent detection is still thin. On 2026-10-18 only 4 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. Most browser and antivirus users will therefore get no warning. PhishDestroy lists the domain on its blocklist, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it as well.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-06-07 through Cloudflare, Inc. That was roughly four months before PhishDestroy detected it, so the operation had time to run before it drew attention. The site resolves to Cloudflare's network with a Canadian location. That means the visible address belongs to the proxy, and the server actually hosting the page stays hidden behind it.

What to do

Coach gift card offers that ask you to pay a fee or enter card details to claim a prize are not genuine. If you entered a payment card on this site, call your bank to cancel the card, dispute any charges and watch for small recurring debits. If you only gave contact details, expect targeted phishing by email, text or phone, and do not trust follow-up messages about your "reward." Defenders should block luxehauls.com at mail and web gateways. They can also forward it to Coach's brand protection team and to Cloudflare's abuse reporting so the content is removed.
