Overview

livledgerlog.framer.media is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger Live, the companion app for Ledger hardware wallets, under the title "Ledger® Live - Login | Secure Access to Your Wallet". It targets Ledger owners who search for the app or follow a link expecting an official sign-in. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-14, and it was still online with its content live on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The title promises a "Login" to your wallet, but Ledger Live has no web login. Your keys stay on the hardware device, and the real app never asks you to type them anywhere. Pages like this one use the Ledger name and styling to push visitors into entering their 24-word recovery phrase, or other wallet credentials, under the pretext of verifying or restoring access. Anyone holding that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it. Transfers made this way cannot be reversed.

Evidence

On 2026-10-15, VirusTotal showed 18 of 92 security engines flagging the address. The flagging vendors included ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Emsisoft, CRDF, CyRadar, Chong Lua Dao and alphaMountain.ai. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized Ledger branding on it. The site is also listed on the MetaMask, SEAL and PhishFeed blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so wallets and browsers that use those feeds should warn users before it loads.

Infrastructure

The page runs as a subdomain of framer.media, which is hosting space for a website builder. That means the 2021-11-19 registration date and the corporate registrar, CSC Corporate Domains, Inc., belong to the platform and not to whoever built the page. Traffic is served from Amazon's AMAZON-02 network in the Netherlands. Hosting on a reputable builder's domain lends the page borrowed credibility and lets it go live within minutes, without the operator registering anything.

What to do

If you typed your recovery phrase on this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a fresh phrase, ideally after resetting your Ledger, and move any remaining funds there immediately. If you only browsed and entered nothing, close the page and open Ledger Live only from the installed app or Ledger's official site. Remember that Ledger will never ask for your 24 words. Security teams should block the hostname, check logs for visits, and report the page to the site builder's abuse team so the subdomain is taken down.
