PhishDestroy threat report
listingcenter.listings-nasdaq.com is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as a Nasdaq listing portal. It presents itself as "U.S. Share Certification — startpup (MEME)" and targets crypto holders and token projects who would be impressed by an apparent link between a meme coin and a US stock exchange. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17. It was still online and serving content when last checked on 2026-10-19.
The page borrows Nasdaq's name and a listing-center subdomain so that a fake "share certification" for the startpup (MEME) token looks official. Schemes like this use the exchange's authority to create trust and urgency. Victims are then pushed to connect a wallet, pay a certification or registration fee, or hand over personal and identity details to "claim" equity-style status for their tokens. Nasdaq does not certify meme tokens as US shares, so whatever a visitor sends or signs goes to the operators.
Three of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-01: Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so most generic scanners will not warn a visitor. The stronger signal comes from crypto-focused blocklists. Besides PhishDestroy, the domain is listed by MetaMask and SEAL, which means wallet users running MetaMask should see a warning before the page loads.
The domain was registered through Name.com, Inc. on 2026-09-15, only two days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of a site built for a specific campaign rather than a legitimate long-running service. It is hosted on Amazon's AWS network (AMAZON-02) in the United States. The whole setup sits on a lookalike second-level domain, with the subdomain carrying the Nasdaq-sounding name.
Do not pay any certification, listing or verification fee, and treat any promised share status for MEME as fiction. If you connected a wallet here, review the token approvals granted to unfamiliar contracts, revoke them, and move remaining funds to a fresh address if you signed anything you did not understand. If you submitted ID documents or personal details, watch for follow-up contact from people posing as Nasdaq or regulators, and report the incident. Defenders should block the full domain and its parent, and alert community channels where MEME or startpup are promoted.
