PhishDestroy threat report
ledgr-live-learn.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page posing as Ledger Live, the companion app for Ledger hardware wallets. The page is titled "Ledger Live App: Buy, Sell, Stake & Swap Crypto" to look like an official download or onboarding page, and the misspelled "ledgr" in the address is easy to miss. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-08. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its content.
Fake Ledger Live pages target people who are searching for the app or trying to set up, update or troubleshoot their device. These pages usually lead the visitor to a fake download or a "verification" step that asks for the 24-word recovery phrase. Anyone who enters that phrase gives the attacker full control of every wallet derived from it. The funds can then be moved off the device without the hardware wallet ever being touched. The genuine Ledger Live app never asks you to type your recovery phrase into a website or a pop-up.
Fifteen of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-09-17, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Emsisoft, alphaMountain.ai and Chong Lua Dao. Spamhaus lists it in its DBL under the phishing category. Beyond PhishDestroy, it appears on the MetaMask, SEAL and PhishFeed blocklists, so wallet users and crypto-focused security teams have independently confirmed the threat.
The site is a subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, a free static hosting service, created on 2026-08-31. PhishDestroy detected it eight days later. It resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. network space located in Canada. A free pages.dev subdomain lets an operator launch quickly and reuse a trusted-looking parent domain. The page is still up more than a month after the first detection.
If you typed your Ledger recovery phrase on this site, treat it as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a fresh phrase on your genuine device and move any remaining assets there immediately. If you installed software from the page, remove it, scan the machine, and get Ledger Live again only from Ledger's official site. If you connected a software wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you granted. Defenders should block the domain, report it to Cloudflare Pages for takedown, and warn users that Ledger will never ask for a recovery phrase online.
