PhishDestroy threat report
ledger-liiveapp.pages.dev is a phishing page impersonating Ledger. Its name is a misspelling of Ledger Live, the companion app for Ledger hardware wallets, with a doubled "i" that is easy to miss. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11 after the hosting provider blocked its content, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.
Fake Ledger Live pages usually claim the wallet needs an update, a sync or a security check, then ask for the 24-word recovery phrase. Anyone who types that phrase hands over full control of the wallet, and the attacker can empty it from any device without touching the hardware. The page now shows the title "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's own warning screen and not the Ledger lure, while our classification refers to the impersonation content behind it.
urlscan.io rated the site malicious. Its only brand match, a generic Cloudflare tag, comes from the warning screen that replaced the lure. The domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so three separate crypto-security lists flagged it. VirusTotal tells a different story: none of its 89 engines detected it as of 2026-09-11. Users who rely on conventional antivirus alone would have had no warning.
The subdomain was created on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-01-12, more than seven months before PhishDestroy first saw it. That long quiet stretch is consistent with a page that was set up early and pushed to victims later. It ran on Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure located in Canada, under a free pages.dev subdomain. Attackers favor these subdomains because they need no domain purchase and inherit the trust of a well-known platform.
If you entered your recovery phrase on this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up your Ledger with a brand-new phrase and move any remaining funds to it immediately, because the old phrase can never be made safe again. Ledger never asks for the 24 words on a website, in an app pop-up or by message. Install Ledger Live only from Ledger's official site. Defenders should block this hostname and watch for similar Ledger Live typo variants on pages.dev and other free hosting platforms.
