ipbooter.pro is an impersonation phishing page in the game-server and DDoS niche. Its name points at IP booter and stresser services, and it appeals to people who run or play on game servers. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-05. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving content.
How the scam works
The page is titled "Why Game Servers Get Booted Offline: Booter Attacks and Real DDoS Protection," which reads like an educational article, while PhishDestroy classifies the site as impersonation phishing. Schemes of this type copy the look and language of a known service so visitors trust it. They then push visitors to log in, sign up or pay for "protection" or "stress-testing" plans. The victim ends up handing account credentials, payment details or money to whoever runs the domain and gets nothing usable in return.
Evidence
Five of 92 VirusTotal engines flag the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar (checked 2026-10-19). That is a small share, so many filters will still let the site through. Still, the flags come from several independent vendors rather than a single outlier. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tied it to malicious activity. Of the blocklists we track, PhishDestroy currently lists it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-07-27 through Fewmoretaps OU, which trades as Trustname.com, about six weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a site built for a specific campaign rather than a long-running business. Traffic goes through Cloudflare's network on IP 188.114.96.3, geolocated to Canada. This setup hides the actual origin server, so takedown requests have to go through Cloudflare.
What to do
Do not register, log in or buy any booter, stresser or "DDoS protection" plan on ipbooter.pro. If you entered a password, change it right away on every service where you reuse it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you paid by card or PayPal, contact your bank or the payment provider to dispute the charge and watch for further unauthorized transactions. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies, especially on networks used by gaming communities. Abuse reports should go to Cloudflare and Trustname.com.
