The domain www.hitbtc-login.com was registered on July 17, 2024 through NiceNIC International Group Co., Limited and is currently taken offline. Infrastructure analysis shows the domain was resolved to IP address 45.10.243.7, which belongs to AS57724 DDOS‑GUARD LTD in Russia. Four CloudNS name servers (pns51‑pns54.cloudns.net) were configured, and the MX record points to localhost, indicating that the domain was not intended for legitimate email traffic. An SSL certificate issued by PhishDestroy with the subject botadmin.destroy.tools was observed, confirming the use of a known phishing‑related certificate authority.

The landing page returned the title "Sign in / HitBTC" and was built with React, jQuery, Hammer.js and DDoS‑Guard libraries, a stack commonly seen in credential‑phishing kits. VirusTotal reports that 16 of 93 scanning engines flagged the domain, and Gridinsoft assigned a trust score of 0 / 100. The domain appears on at least one public blocklist (PhishDestroy) and has been reported as a credential‑phishing site impersonating CoinMarketCap.

While the site is offline, the observed infrastructure—particularly the Russian‑based IP and the use of a PhishDestroy certificate—suggests a reusable hosting setup that could be redeployed for similar campaigns. Defenders should continue to block the domain and its resolved IP at network borders, monitor for new subdomains using the same name server set, and enforce strict email filtering for messages that reference CoinMarketCap login URLs.
