PhishDestroy threat report
en-bitunix.com is an impersonation phishing page that poses as the Bitunix cryptocurrency exchange, aimed at traders who look for the platform and land on a convincing copy. The "en-" prefix is meant to pass as an official English-language version of the brand. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-19, and the site was still online and serving content when last checked on 2026-10-19.
The page carries the exchange's own marketing line, "Bitunix Exchange | Better Liquidity, Better Trading | Trade Bitcoin, Ethereum & More Crypto", so a visitor sees the trading platform they expected. Clones like this typically collect the account email, password and one-time 2FA codes typed into a fake login form, and attackers can replay them right away on the real exchange to empty the account. Some versions also show deposit addresses or wallet-connection prompts, and any crypto sent or approved there goes straight to the operators. Victims can lose exchange balances, account access and the personal details they submitted.
Twelve of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-29. They include Kaspersky, BitDefender, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai, a mix of major antivirus and web-filtering vendors that reached the same verdict independently. MetaMask and the SEAL security alliance list it alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users have some protection in their tooling. It also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-09 through NAMECHEAP INC, only ten days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap is typical of brand-impersonation sites that are set up quickly and put to use right away. It is hosted on Namecheap, Inc. network space in the United States. Its Sectigo DV certificate only proves control of the domain name, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site really belongs to Bitunix.
Do not log in or deposit on en-bitunix.com, and reach Bitunix only by typing its address yourself or through its official app. If you entered credentials, change your Bitunix password immediately, reset 2FA, end all active sessions, review withdrawal addresses and API keys, and contact Bitunix support. Change the password anywhere else you reused it. If you sent funds or connected a wallet, move remaining assets to a fresh wallet, revoke any token approvals, and report the transaction to Bitunix and the authorities. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP 162.254.39.228, and watch for similar language-prefixed Bitunix lookalikes.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
