PhishDestroy threat report
capowex.com is a young domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist. It has not been tied to a specific brand or scam type, but independent security vendors flag it. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-07. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still live and redirected visitors elsewhere, so it can still pass traffic to whatever page it currently points at.
No impersonated brand or phishing kit has been identified here. The main risk is the redirect: visitors land on capowex.com and are sent on to another page without choosing it. In crypto scams, throwaway domains like this are often used as entry points that funnel traffic to login forms, fake investment platforms or wallet-connection prompts. Anyone who follows the chain could be asked for passwords, seed phrases, deposits or wallet signatures. Each of those can lead to lost accounts or funds.
Five of 92 VirusTotal engines classify the domain as malicious or suspicious as of 2026-10-19: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines. Still, five unrelated vendors reaching the same conclusion about a weeks-old domain is a meaningful signal. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses, meaning other researchers have linked it to reported activity. Among the major blocklists, only PhishDestroy currently lists it.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-24 through Fewmoretaps OU, trading as Trustname.com. That was just 13 days before PhishDestroy detected it, a short gap typical of disposable scam domains. It sits behind Cloudflare (AS13335) in the US, which hides the real origin server. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, but that padlock confirms only an encrypted connection, not that the site is trustworthy.
If you were redirected from capowex.com and typed a password anywhere, change it right away, along with any account that reuses it, and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you connected a crypto wallet or signed anything along the redirect chain, review and revoke token approvals with a revocation tool. If you entered a seed phrase, move your assets to a newly created wallet. Do not send deposits or "verification" payments to any platform you reached this way. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, look through logs for users who visited it, and report it to Cloudflare and the registrar.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
