worldfinancebulletin.com is an impersonation phishing page that posed as Thomann UK, the large musical instrument and audio retailer, using a product listing titled "Sennheiser E 945 – Thomann UK". It targeted shoppers looking for music gear who expect a familiar storefront and checkout. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-21. The site has been offline since 2026-09-22, and its content remained blocked by the provider when we last checked on 2026-10-19. The domain name suggests a finance news outlet, while the page presented a Thomann shop listing.
How the scam works
Fake retail pages like this copy a real product page, here a Sennheiser E 945 microphone, so the visitor feels they are on the genuine Thomann store. The victim is moved toward a checkout that captures card numbers, billing addresses, contact details and sometimes account logins. The order never ships. The stolen card data can be charged right away or resold, and the personal details can feed follow-up scams.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the page malicious and detected the Thomann brand on it. That matches our classification. On VirusTotal, only 1 of 89 engines flagged the domain on 2026-09-22, and that engine was SOCRadar. Such thin coverage means most security tools would not have warned a visitor. The domain also appears in 5 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-02-24, about seven months before we detected it. That gap points to a domain registered in advance and activated later. Traffic ran through Cloudflare's network on an address geolocated to Canada, so the IP reveals the proxy rather than the actual origin server. The site was taken offline one day after we first saw it.
What to do
If you entered card details on this site, call your bank now. Ask them to block the card, reissue it and dispute any charges. If you reused a password there, including one for a real Thomann account, change it and turn on two-factor authentication. Expect convincing follow-up emails or calls that mention your "order", and check any real Thomann purchase only through the retailer's official site.
