PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

wittchen.eusalesoutlet.com borrows the name of Wittchen, the leather goods and luggage brand, and places it on a generic "EU sales outlet" domain. It targets bargain hunters looking for cut-price bags, wallets and suitcases. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-20. The site was still online and serving content when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake brand outlets lure shoppers with steep discounts, usually through social media ads or search results. They then collect names, delivery addresses and full card details at a convincing checkout. Victims typically lose the payment and receive nothing or a cheap substitute. The stolen card data can be reused for further fraud. When last loaded, the page returned the title "500 Internal Server Error" rather than a storefront, while our classification remains brand impersonation.

Evidence

Thirteen of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-29. The flagging vendors include Kaspersky, ESET, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Lionic and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. That is a solid spread of independent security vendors. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, which affects mail filtering and DNS-level blocking. It also appears on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-03-13 through Dynadot Inc, about six months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is consistent with domains being parked before a campaign goes live. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, with the edge address geolocating to Canada. This means the real origin server is hidden behind the proxy. The certificate from Google Trust Services is the automatically issued kind, so the browser padlock proves nothing about the shop's legitimacy.

What to do

If you ordered from this site, contact your bank or card issuer at once to dispute the charge and request a replacement card. Watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions. If you created an account, change that password anywhere you reused it, and be wary of follow-up emails or calls about your "order". Buy Wittchen products only through the brand's official channels or known retailers. Security teams should block the domain and its parent eusalesoutlet.com at DNS and the mail gateway, and report the site to Dynadot and Cloudflare.
