wispy-loom.com is an impersonation phishing page. It copies the look of a legitimate service so that crypto users believe they are on a site they already trust. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-20. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still online and serving its phishing content, so it remains a live risk.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages work by borrowing trust. Visitors usually arrive through a link in a message, ad or search result and see a familiar interface. The page then asks for a login, a recovery phrase, a deposit or some other action the real service would never request this way. Whatever the visitor enters goes straight to the operators, who use it to take over accounts or empty wallets.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, 17 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as malicious. They include ESET, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar, ADMINUSLabs and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. These are independent vendors using different detection methods, so their agreement backs our classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have tracked it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-01-02, more than eight months before PhishDestroy detected it. Phishing operators often let a domain age like this so it looks established and slips past filters that distrust brand-new registrations. The site sits behind Cloudflare's network on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. Its Google Trust Services certificate is the kind routinely issued at Cloudflare's edge, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is honest.
What to do
Do not enter anything on wispy-loom.com, and treat any message that pointed you there as hostile. If you typed a password, change it on the genuine service right away, turn on app-based two-factor authentication, and sign out of other active sessions. If you entered a wallet recovery phrase or private key, consider that wallet compromised. Move any remaining assets to a newly created wallet immediately. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, search mail and chat logs for links to it, and report it to Cloudflare and Dynadot so it can be taken down.
