Overview

weumax.com is an impersonation phishing site that presents itself as the account registration page of a service called Weumax, under the page title "Weumax: Create an Account". It targets people who believe they are signing up for a legitimate crypto or trading platform. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-17. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its content was reachable through a redirect.

How the scam works

Impersonation sites like this copy the look and wording of a real or plausible brand so visitors trust the sign-up form. A "Create an Account" page asks for an email address, a password, and often a phone number or identity details. Everything entered goes to the operators. Victims typically lose control of reused passwords and email accounts. Their contact details are then reused for follow-up scams, and in fake-platform schemes they can lose any deposit they are later persuaded to make.
