vip.foapux.com is a phishing page that poses as a legitimate crypto service to win the trust of cryptocurrency users. The "vip" subdomain fits a common lure that promises exclusive access or premium returns. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-29. On the latest check, 2026-10-19, the hostname had stopped resolving in DNS, so the page was unreachable, but the domain is still registered and could be pointed at a server again.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look of a trusted exchange, wallet or investment platform. They then ask the visitor to sign in, enter a recovery phrase, connect a wallet or send a deposit to unlock "VIP" features. Anything typed into the page goes straight to the operators. A deposit sent to an address shown on the page cannot be recovered, and a leaked seed phrase or signed wallet request gives them control of the victim's assets.

Several independent sources flag this site. On 2026-10-01, 14 of 91 VirusTotal engines marked it as malicious, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and CyRadar. That spread across unrelated vendors makes a false positive unlikely. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and tagged the page as a crypto scam. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, which lets mail filters and DNS resolvers block it.

Infrastructure

foapux.com was registered on 2026-06-26 through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com, about three months before it was detected. That gap suggests the domain was registered early and held until it was needed. The site was hosted in Germany on the network of FEMO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED. Its TLS certificate came from Let's Encrypt, so the browser padlock says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered a password on this site, change it on the real service right away and turn on app-based 2FA. If you typed in a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining funds to a new wallet created on a clean device. If you connected a wallet, check and revoke any token approvals you granted. Do not send further "fees" to recover a deposit, because these requests are part of the same scam. Defenders should block foapux.com and its subdomains at DNS and mail gateways and add the Spamhaus DBL listing to their filtering.
