PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

usdc876.com is a domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist whose name pairs the USDC stablecoin ticker with an arbitrary number. That naming pattern puts USDC holders and crypto wallet users squarely in its path. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09. The site went offline on 2026-10-14 after its content was blocked at the provider level, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page carried the title "onkeyon", which names no exchange, wallet or token and does not match the USDC branding in the domain. The live page did not show a specific scheme, so it is not classified as a particular type of scam. The risk lies in what USDC-styled domains are commonly used for: persuading visitors to connect a wallet, sign a transaction or deposit stablecoins on a platform they cannot withdraw from. Any of those steps can hand control of funds to whoever runs the site.

Evidence

On 2026-10-13, 4 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. Traffic ran through Cloudflare's network on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server from visitors.
