PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

usdc661.com is on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Its name references USDC, the dollar-pegged stablecoin, combined with a string of digits, which puts stablecoin holders in its potential audience. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-09. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14, and on 2026-10-19 its content was still blocked at the provider level.

How the scam works

The page title read "Maison," French for "house." That word has nothing to do with the stablecoin named in the domain, so the title and the name point in different directions. Domains that pair a well-known coin ticker with arbitrary numbers are often used for sites that collect deposits, login details or wallet access from crypto users. There is not enough evidence to say which of these methods, if any, this site used. Treat any request on it to send USDC, enter a recovery phrase or connect a wallet as a strong warning sign.

Evidence

On 2026-10-13, 4 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a low count, but these four vendors flagged it independently of each other. Apart from PhishDestroy, no other blocklist lists it.
