usdc058.com is an impersonation phishing site whose numbered domain borrows the name of the USDC stablecoin to look like an official service. It targets crypto users who hold or trade stablecoins. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14, its content blocked at the provider level, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Sites like this rely on a familiar crypto name to win trust and then steer visitors into a transaction or login that benefits the operator. Typical outcomes are sending stablecoins to an attacker-controlled address, typing a seed phrase or credentials into a fake form, or connecting a wallet and signing a permission that lets the operator move tokens. The page displayed the title "onkeyon", which does not reference USDC, while we classified the domain as USDC impersonation based on its name and behaviour.
Evidence
Independent detection is thin. On 2026-10-13, VirusTotal showed only LevelBlue flagging the domain, 1 engine out of 92. The domain appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tied it to malicious activity. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist carrying it. Because almost no vendors flag it, browser and antivirus warnings would have been unlikely to stop a visitor.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2025-12-29 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., roughly nine months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a domain held in reserve or reused rather than one launched for a single campaign. Traffic ran through Cloudflare, with the edge address geolocated to Canada. That address belongs to Cloudflare's proxy network and does not reveal where the actual server is located.
What to do
If you sent USDC or any other token through this site, assume the funds are gone. Report the receiving address and transaction to the platform or exchange you sent from. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, revoke token approvals with a trusted approval checker. If you entered a seed phrase, create a new wallet and move any remaining assets to it immediately. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, search logs for visits after 2026-10-09, and treat new numbered USDC-themed domains as suspicious on sight.
