usdc008.com is an impersonation phishing page whose name borrows the USDC stablecoin brand and adds a numbered suffix. That pattern is typical of disposable lookalike domains aimed at people who hold or trade stablecoins. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14, with its content blocked by the provider, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages of this kind present themselves as an official or affiliated USDC service. They promise rewards, staking yields or account access to get visitors to act. The victim is then pushed to send USDC or other tokens, enter login details, or connect a wallet and approve transactions. Funds that leave a wallet this way go straight to the operators and cannot be reversed. The page displayed the title "onkeyon", which does not reference USDC, while the domain name itself carries the brand.
Evidence
Detection coverage is thin. On 2026-10-13, only 2 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and LevelBlue, so most security products would have let it through. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it, which shows other researchers tracked it independently. PhishDestroy lists it on our blocklist under the Impersonation classification.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. on 2025-11-09, roughly eleven months before it surfaced as phishing. That gap suggests the domain was held in reserve rather than used immediately. Traffic ran through Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, which keeps the origin server out of view. The provider's content block is the reason the site went dark on 2026-10-14.
What to do
If you sent USDC or other tokens to an address shown on this site, treat the transfer as lost. Report the transaction hash to your exchange and to law enforcement, and ignore anyone who offers to recover the funds for a fee. If you connected a wallet, use a token-approval checker to revoke any allowances you granted during the visit, and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you typed a password or seed phrase, change the password and enable 2FA wherever it was reused, and abandon any wallet whose seed phrase was exposed. Defenders should block usdc008.com and watch for sibling domains that follow the same usdc-plus-digits naming pattern.
