us08-web-zoom.us is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as Zoom. It shows the title "Join Meeting | Zoom" and targets anyone who receives a meeting link. The name copies the style of Zoom's numbered regional meeting addresses, but the domain is not Zoom's. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-14, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still alive and redirecting visitors.
How the scam works
The victim gets what looks like an ordinary meeting invitation and lands on a familiar "Join Meeting" screen. Fake Zoom join pages like this usually stall the visitor with a prompt to sign in or to install a supposedly required client or update. A sign-in form captures account credentials. A downloaded "update" is the scammer's own software, which can give them access to the computer and anything stored on it, including browser sessions and crypto wallets.
Evidence
Sixteen of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-18, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Emsisoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. Spamhaus lists it in its domain blocklist under the phishing category (DBL_PHISH). Besides PhishDestroy, the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists carry it, so crypto security teams have independently treated it as a threat to wallet users.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-10-12 through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED, just two days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of a site built for a quick campaign. It sits behind Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, which masks the real server. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a padlock, but that only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the site.
What to do
If you typed a Zoom or email password on this page, change it right away and enable two-factor authentication. Do the same on any account that reuses that password. If you downloaded or ran anything from it, treat the computer as compromised. From a clean device, move funds out of any wallet on that machine into a new wallet, change your important passwords, and scan or reinstall the system. Before joining any meeting, check that the link points to Zoom's real domain. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and the mail gateway and search logs for users who visited it or downloaded files since 2026-10-12.
