twomc-research.com is a phishing page titled "Web Mail" that copies a generic webmail sign-in screen rather than any single named provider. It targets anyone who might receive a link to it, typically people with work or personal mailboxes. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-29. When last checked on 2026-10-19 the site was still online, with its content reachable behind a protection layer.

How the scam works

Victims usually arrive from an email claiming a full mailbox, a pending message or a required password check. The link leads to the "Web Mail" form, which asks for an email address and password and sends both to the operators. A stolen mailbox is often worth more than it looks. Attackers can use it to reset passwords on exchanges, wallets and banking accounts, read 2FA and recovery emails, and send further phishing to the victim's contacts from a trusted address.

Evidence

VirusTotal shows 14 of 92 engines flagging the domain as of 2026-10-07. The vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue. That is a minority of engines, but it comes from several independent security companies. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognised a generic email login brand on it, which matches the "Web Mail" title. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through GoDaddy.com, LLC on 2023-01-16, more than three and a half years before PhishDestroy flagged it. That gap points to an aged domain picked up or repurposed for phishing, not a freshly registered one. It is hosted on WHG Hosting Services Ltd in Singapore at 103.227.176.5. A Let's Encrypt certificate gives it the browser padlock, so a valid HTTPS connection says nothing about whether this login page is legitimate.
