truetech-service.com is an impersonation phishing site. It presents itself as a trustworthy technical service so visitors will hand over account details or money to what looks like a real provider. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-18. The site was still online with its content live when last checked on 2026-10-19, so it remains a working trap.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow the look, wording and tone of an established service to make one request feel routine. That request is usually a login, a verification step, a payment or a support form. Anything typed into the page goes straight to the operators. Victims can lose account access, payment card details or money sent for services that do not exist, and stolen logins are often reused to take over linked accounts.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, 15 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, alphaMountain.ai and the Vietnamese anti-phishing project Chong Lua Dao. That is a solid consensus across major antivirus and web-filtering vendors, not a single outlier. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tied it to malicious activity independently. On the blocklist side, only PhishDestroy lists it so far, so some browsers and filters may still let it load without a warning.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-01-03, more than eight months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the name was held in reserve or used quietly before this campaign surfaced. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the edge address located in Canada. This hides the real origin server and makes the location tell us little about the operators. Its TLS certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WE1), which is issued automatically, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
Do not enter details, make payments or download anything from this site. If you logged in there, change that password right away, along with any other account that shares it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you gave card or bank details or paid for a service, contact your bank to dispute the charge and block the card. If the page persuaded you to install any software, remove it and scan the device.
