Overview

trizor-bridge.blogspot.cz is an impersonation phishing page hosted as a Blogger subdomain. Its name closely echoes the bridge utility that hardware-wallet owners install to connect their devices, so it is aimed at crypto holders looking for wallet software. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-05. As of 2026-10-19 the address was still live and answering with a redirect.

How the scam works

Pages like this pose as the official download or setup point for wallet connection software. A visitor who trusts the lookalike name is pushed to install a fake 'bridge' or to type their recovery phrase into a 'restore' or 'verify' form. Anyone holding that phrase can rebuild the wallet and empty it, and the transfers cannot be reversed. The page title currently reads 'Moved Temporarily', a redirect notice, while we classify the site as impersonation phishing.

Evidence

On 2026-09-17, 13 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the address. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, ESET, Emsisoft, Fortinet and Lionic. Agreement across that many independent engines is meaningful for a page that sits on a widely trusted free-hosting domain. PhishDestroy lists it on its own blocklist.

Infrastructure

The 2007-02-06 registration date and the MarkMonitor Inc. registrar belong to Google's blogspot.cz parent domain, not to the scam itself. The operator simply created a free subdomain under it. Traffic is served from Google LLC's network in the US, and the Google Trust Services certificate is issued for the whole platform. The padlock therefore says nothing about who runs this page. This setup costs the scammer nothing and borrows Google's reputation.

What to do

If you entered your recovery phrase here, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a fresh phrase on a trusted device, then move any remaining funds to it immediately. If you downloaded and ran anything from the page, uninstall it, run a full malware scan, and get wallet software only through the vendor's official site. Then check whether any wallet you used on that machine has been accessed. Defenders should block this subdomain at the DNS and proxy level and report it to Blogger's abuse channel.
