How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and login flow of a real brand, then reach victims through search ads, social media posts, direct messages or emails that look official. A visitor who believes they are on the genuine site enters a password, a one-time code or, on crypto-themed clones, a wallet recovery phrase. That input goes straight to the attackers, who use it to take over the account or empty the wallet before the victim notices. The redirect means visitors can be sent on to other pages controlled by the operators.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, 15 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors that flagged it include alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and Gridinsoft. That is a clear minority of engines, but several of them are mainstream products whose blocking reaches many browsers and endpoints. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-02-25, nearly seven months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was registered early and held in reserve, or ran quietly before being caught. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, Inc. at 104.21.6.107, geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a browser padlock, and that padlock says nothing about whether the site is honest.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately on the real service and on any account where you reuse it. Turn on app-based two-factor authentication and review recent logins and active sessions. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move the funds to a newly created wallet. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, search mail and chat logs for links to it, and check whether any internal users visited it after 2026-09-18.
